We are looking for an System Administrator/ DevOps (m/f) to join the awesomeness of the Global Savings Group in our headquarters in Munich. Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:

• Create and optimize Chef recipes for automation configuration of our servers
• Work closely with the Engineering team on architecture and technologies to accelerate the delivery of our solutions
• Build and develop 100% automation from installation package to running system
• Diagnose complex systems issues with multiple influencing factors
• Set-up and configure AWS services to best practices
• Integrate AWS asset provisioning with code release and continuous deployment processes
• Build and improve continuously the integration pipeline from development environments, testing to deployment across large number of machines seamlessly
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations

Qualifications

Do you have what it takes?

• Relevant work experience in a System Administrator/DevOps role
• Experience with Linux systems
• Experience with system administration and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies such as EC2, RDS, S3, Route53, CloudFront, CloudFormation etc.
• Basic Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl)
• Knowledge of Networking layers with focus on Web Networking
• Knowledge of MySQl, NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB), Chef, GIT
• Be available 24/7 for major issues on production servers and a burning desire to automate things
• Fluency in written and spoken English, other language would be a plus
