We are currently looking for an experienced Senior NodeJS Developer (m/f) to join the awesomeness of the Global Savings Group in our headquarters in Munich. Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:

• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Be responsible for the Implementation of security and data protection
• Work closely with the Tech SEO Team with strong focus on mobile first index
• Implement and improve one of the top performing applications in the market

Qualifications

Do you have what it takes?

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Typescript, NodeJs
• Fundamental understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors Sass
• Understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
