Job Description

Department: Engineering

- Reporting Line: CTO
- Fulltime
- Languages: English mandatory, German is a plus
- Location: Berlin

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop new features for a perspective fin-tech startup which doesn’t have any piece of
legacy code
- Design and refactor code, architecture and data model together with other members or
Engineering and Data teams
- Close collaboration with Product and QA in order to understand and match use cases
and acceptance criteria
- Close collaboration with Payments, BI, Risk, Marketing and Sales teams in order to
develop the best fin-tech product
- Constantly improve the quality of processes

Qualifications

- Understand core design patterns and and be able to use it properly
- Write clear and testable code
- Ability and interest to learn new technologies and languages
- Symfony3 or any other modern MVC Framework
- TDD, BDD or simply passion to cover code by tests
- RESTful API on a client and server side
- Understanding and ability to get rid of bottlenecks in performance and security of
database and application
- Work in a close collaboration with stakeholders, team members and other colleagues.
