Job Description

To pursue our ambitious expansion strategy, we are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in our Berlin office with both, deep technical knowledge and strong managerial background. The successful candidate will develop and implement a technical strategy for both the short term and long term growth of the company that builds on a centralized platform for international deployment.

The successful candidate will:

• Have 5+ years of demonstrated results in Software Development, Architecture and (Agile) project management, preferably with specialties in LAMP (e.g. PHP, MySQL, Zend Framework) and knowledge of relevant trends/technology
• Be familiar with high scalability transactional environments 
• Have proven track record in operating international platforms
• Be a hands-on leader with bias for action; e-commerce & marketplace experience (in international environment) is a plus
• Be capable of leading and motivating a team
• Be fluent in English
