Job Description

As financial accountant, you are responsible for the accounting of our German holding companies as part of our International Finance team.

The following tasks will be part of your new role:

• Current financial accounting of German holding companies
  
• Account assignment and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
  
• Implementation of the advance VAT return
  
• Preparation of business management evaluations, account statements and reconciliations, inter-company
  
• Reconciliations
  
• Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB

Qualifications

You are an accountant, tax consultant or equivalent and have at least 2 years of accounting / finance experience:

• You have preferably already worked in an international environment
  
• You have a hands-on mentality, a strong analytical and structured way of working and logical thinking.
  
• You have a strong understanding of numbers
  
• You have very good Excel knowledge. Knowledge in commercial and tax law and IFRS knowledge is a plus
  
• Ideally you already have some experience working with the program tse: nit or similar accounting software
  
• You communicate fluently in German and English
