Job Description

• You will be in the lead for financial modelling and other data based quantitative analyses

• You will be part of a team, which is heavily involved in capital raising activities and is supporting our companies with M&A and IPO processes and valuation expertise

• You will support senior management with regards to capital markets activities and communication

• You will support the capital raising, investing, administration and investor relations activities of the Rocket Internet Capital Partners fund and of Rocket internet SE

• You will work interdisciplinary with the departments at headquarters and our network of companies, gaining an in-depth understanding of Rocket Internet and its companies

• You will be involved in the evaluation and execution of new projects, which will provide you with ample learning opportunities and where you can take on significant responsibility

• You will be part of a small, motivated team with a very flat organizational structure, having direct exposure to the CEO and Co-Founder of Rocket Internet and its CFO

• You will be based in Berlin, the multi-cultural capital of Germany and Internet hotspot on the European continent

Qualifications

• You are highly motivated, willing to take ownership of tasks and projects and have the determination to see assignments through to completion

• You are able to obtain fast solutions while working independently. Moreover, you feel confident when working with MS Excel and PowerPoint

• You enjoy solving complex data problems in Excel and possess a high attention to detail

• You are intrigued by new and diverse business models and enjoy handling multiple tasks simultaneously

• You earned your university degree in business administration, economics or a related field and have a thorough understanding of corporate finance

• You gained 1-3 years of working experience at a global investment bank, private equity fund or corporate finance /transaction advisory services team at an international accounting firm. Recent graduates with relevant internship experience will also be considered

• You are a native German speaker (or can communicate verbally and in writing like one) and have excellent English skills
